Ownership of rights
All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to Nook Furniture Co Ltd. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Nook Furniture Co Ltd. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.

Accuracy of content
Nook Furniture Co Ltd has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price. If you decide not to order the item, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that item in accordance with our refund policy.
Your order is an offer to buy from us. Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of that offer until we actually despatch an item to you, at which point a contract will be made between us. At any point up until then we may decline to supply an item to you. If we decline to supply an item to you and you have already paid for it, we will give you a full refund of any amount already paid for that item in accordance with our refund policy.
Where items are despatched separately, our acceptance of the order in respect of each item takes place when that item is dispatched.
All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT.
The price of an item does not include the delivery charge. The rate applicable for the delivery charge will be calculated at the date you place your order.
Packaging may vary from that shown. The weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nook Furniture Co Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Nook Furniture Co Ltd shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available by emailing you.

Ordering errors
You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on ‘place order’ on the final page of our ordering process.

Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order
If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.

Delays
Occasionally, the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as material shortages, import delays or higher than anticipated demand. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.

Cancellation right
Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of Jewellery and made to order items). Where goods are delivered to a third party (e.g. through our Gift Registry service) you will only be able to exercise this right if you are able to return to us the goods you ordered. For details of how to exercise this right please see our Returns and Refunds section.

Restrictions on purchase
Where the order concerns:
a.) Furniture orders can only be delivered within the United Kingdom mainland and Northern Ireland.
b.) Knives (including, all kitchen/cutlery knives) or bladed articles, by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 18.
c.) Christmas crackers, by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 16.

Gift list gift messages and gift wrapping
The Gift List and Gift Message Service is for your own personal and non-commercial use. You agree that any messages posted by you on your Gift List or sent by us on your behalf to a third party will not contain anything which could be construed as harassing, threatening, vulgar, abusive, obscene, defamatory, racist or which may cause embarrassment or distress to any person or are otherwise unlawful or objectionable. You also agree that you will not impersonate any person, including but not limited to any of our employees or customers. You are entirely responsible for any text or other material which you post or send on this message system and Nook Furniture Co Ltd accepts no liability for any such content. We do not pre-screen messages, but may monitor content from time to time. We have the right to refuse to send or display messages and terminate access to the Gift Registry message service at any time and without liability to you.

Guarantee – Products & Accessories
All of our products are guaranteed for 1 year.
Please retain your parcel summary document / receipt which is proof of purchase and will validate the data from which your guarantee will start. It is essential to keep your parcel summary document / receipt to preserve the guarantee. Please also retain the original packaging in case you need to return the product.
In the unlikely event of a fault, please call us on 01780 751029. Alternatively return it with your original packaging to the Nook Furniture Co Ltd store. If it is within 30 days of purchase we will offer an exchange for a new product. (Please note exchanges can only be done in store). After 30 days and for the remainder of your guarantee period, we will arrange for the product to be repaired. Should a repair not be possible, we will exchange the product for a new one or the nearest equivalent. In the unlikely event of being unable to exchange we will offer a full refund.
This guarantee is only valid within the United Kingdom and/or Channel Islands. This guarantee excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, not following the instructions and normal wear and tear.
We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on items of jewellery unless they are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Links to other websites
We have placed links on this website to other websites we think you may want to visit. We do not vet these websites and do not have any control over their contents. Nook Furniture Co Ltd cannot accept any liability in respect of the use of these websites.

Exclusions of liability
Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms & conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Nook Furniture Co Ltd or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Law, jurisdiction and language
This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.

These terms and conditions do not affect your legal rights.
Please read the sections below, which will tell you what will happen at each stage of your order. You will be contacted by telephone or email within working two days (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays) to confirm receipt of your order.

Cancellations & amendments
As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please contact our service team on 01780 751029 and one of our staff members will help you. You will be asked to confirm the change or cancellation in writing. If you amend or change your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you’ll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend or cancel the order).
You have a legal right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your goods. All items returned must be in a perfect condition complete with original packaging, and there will be a collection charge of £100. If you do not return an item after our reasonable attempts to recover it, you will be deemed to have accepted the item.
NB – delivery service is arranged without delay – any change or cancellation can only be made on the day of placing your order. Should you need to cancel after this, the delivery charge of £50 is non refundable.

Payment
All methods of payment, including credit cards are processed when you place your order.

Refund policy
If you are entitled to a refund, we will refund you as follows:
If you paid by cash and obtain your refund in-store, we will refund you in cash providing the required amount of cash is available in store at that time; for all other refunds of cash purchases, we will hand/send to you a cheque.
If you paid by payment card, we will refund you on the payment card.

Delivery charges
Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and the service you select and cannot be refunded.

Delivery Arrangements (including delivery only)
When your order is ready, a member of staff will contact you to confirm your delivery date. Your delivery will not happen until you’ve been contacted by phone, email or by letter.
We aim to deliver most of your larger items within 14 days. Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your items within 30 days of the date of your order, we shall not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control. We shall contact you to let you know if we are having any problems getting an item to you within that time.
If you are unable to accept the delivery offered or you wish us to hold your order for a period of time, we can store items for a short time, although this maybe at a charge applicable to the size of the item and amount of time to be stored.
If access to your delivery address is restricted, please let us know when speaking to the staff member.
We use a variety of delivery methods, depending on the size of the item you order and the speed with which you wish to receive it. Some items are delivered directly by the supplier and the supplier will contact you to arrange delivery.
Sometimes a signature is required at delivery. By placing an order you are authorising us to accept signature from another person on your behalf if you need to sign for an item and you are not present at the time of delivery. For some items that do not require a signature at delivery you may be able to give instructions explaining if and where you would like the item to be left if no one is present at the time of delivery, such as with a neighbour. We also use third party delivery companies which may, at their discretion, leave an item in a safe place if no one is present at the time of delivery. In these circumstances the delivery company will put a card through your letter box explaining where it has left the item.
Ownership of an item will not pass to you until we have delivered the item to you (either directly, or by leaving it in a safe place or with a neighbour). When an item is delivered, risk of damage to, or loss of the item passes to you.

Furniture - Will it fit?
Please remember to make a note of your furniture’s dimensions and check that it’ll fit into your house and into your chosen room. Please make sure that there is normal ground floor access, and that the route and the room are large enough to accommodate your order.
NB – delivery only furniture – the product(s) will be delivered to your door and left packaged. Some products may require self-assembly (instructions will be provided). A signature on receipt will be required. It is therefore essential that you’re present for the delivery.
Depending on the delivery service used packing materials will be taken away, disposed of and recycled where possible.

Delays
Occasionally, delivery of your order may be delayed or postponed. We will, or course, make every effort to keep you informed and discuss revised delivery timescales.
